Jasmine was so nice and knowledgeable. She collected us from the train station after our overnight from Shanghai, and offered for us to have refreshments or a rest. We chose to go straight to see the Terracotta Warriors, and she spoke to us about what we were seeing on the trip to the Warriors, which was really great and informative. At the Warriors, she gave us great information, and was able to answer any questions we had. We had an awesome lunch at a local restaurant, and Jasmine was able to help to chose the local dishes and explain them as well. And a great price too. Then back to town for a walk on the wall, again with a great commentary, then to the Muslim Quarter which was a real experience! Jasmine was at all times a fantastic host, and didn't push us into any shopping or anything else we didn't want to do, and gave us plenty of helpful hints to make our stay even more enjoyable. I would definetly use her services again and recommend her to anyone going to Xian.
We have traveled China several times prior with big groups and did not have very good experience especially with the super busy schedule, lack of personal attention and the quality of food in restaurants. This time we get to have a customized tour with Jasmine, whom I found from Trip Advisor. There are cities in China which you could travel relatively easily in small group without a tour guide but Xi'an would not be one of these towns. Having a nice size, comfortable private van is a big plus with Jasmine. Her tour is excellent with 1) her English ability and her knowledge with history and of the tour sites, 2) her gentle personality and patience, 3) her willingness to bring us to the local eateries, could it be restaurants or farm stands, 4)her customization with our group. We have a group of six with age ranging from 12 to 78, and departing Xi'an at different time on the last day and she took care of us very well. Could not say enough good thing about her as she is very resourceful and hardworking. She even arranged a visit to a local family for the six of us. We spent a couple of hours there and have home-made dumplings, and they were awesome honest local folks
Jasmine was our tour guide during our stay at Xi'an. My whole family enjoys her service and knowledge at each sites and she consider well and adjust to make our stay comfortabe and enjoyable. As she is well verse in english, our family is able to appreaciate each visit. Would recommend Jasmine.
I visited Xi'an with my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children, 8 and 10 yo) for 7D/6N end of December 2015. We've visited some popular places in Xi'an with the best toir guide, Jasmine Bai (+8613991826430). We loved her service so much; she didn't rush us just to end the day of her job. She's very knowledgeable and responsible in her job. She made sure that we understand the historical story of the places visited. She also recommended some good restaurants with reasonable price which only Xi'an people would go. No commercial shopping and tourists restaurants in her policy. Her charges were fair and reasonable. Places we enjoyed most were the Terracotta Warriors, Old City Walls, Mr Gao's Ancient Villa, Muslim Quarter and Cuihua Mountain for skiing but we missed the Hua Mountain which should be visited if you're in Xi'an.
We only had a brief stop in Xi'an, hence the importance of maximizing the use of time to get a sense of the city and its surrounds. Fortunately, our travel company had paired us with Jasmine Bai, a guide with a clear passion for the area, and a prodigious knowledge of local and wider China history. First stop was the warriors. Jasmine's excellent English provided the background to one of the most memorable man-made sights of our many years of travel. Then, onto Xi'an's impressive city walls for a spectacular above the city bike ride. Amazing to think this 14 km circuit is just a fraction of the original walls encompassing Xi'an 1,000 years ago. Then, into the muslim quarter, Xi'an at the end of the silk road has the largest muslim population in China and with this population unique street food in the and a warm hospitable mosque that is well worth a visit. Looking forward to a return visit and Jasmine's insights into other aspects of the Xian area
